Answers to the questions facility owners, general contractors and homeowners ask us most often about this service.
How much does commercial epoxy flooring cost?
Pricing depends on the system build: a thin-mil coating costs less than quartz or flake broadcast systems with urethane topcoats. Slab condition and square footage also affect price. We provide free site assessments and detailed written quotes.
How long before we can use the floor again?
Cure and return-to-service times vary by product system, with foot traffic allowed before full chemical and vehicle-traffic cure. We include a return-to-service timeline with your quote so you can plan downtime around it.
What is the difference between epoxy and urethane coatings?
Epoxy provides the thick, high-build base layer with excellent adhesion, impact resistance and chemical resistance. Urethane is applied as a topcoat for superior abrasion, UV and scratch resistance. Most commercial systems we install combine both: an epoxy body with a urethane wear surface.
Is epoxy flooring suitable for food and beverage facilities?
Yes. Seamless resinous floors have no grout lines or crevices to trap bacteria, stand up to hot washdowns and cleaning chemicals, and can be installed with integral cove base. We install systems appropriate for commercial kitchens, breweries, and food and beverage processing areas.
How long does a commercial epoxy floor last?
Surface preparation is the deciding factor in how long an epoxy or urethane floor lasts: properly prepped systems perform for many years, while floors over poorly prepped slabs fail early. That is why we diamond-grind and moisture-test every slab before installation.
